We recently moved from Penge to Beckenham, and we used F Smith & Son’s  full removal and packing services. Since I had never used a proper removal and packing company before, I really wanted an stress-free move, so we decided to invest in it—and it was worth every penny! Lee packed our entire 2-bedroom house single-handedly in just one day, and the rest of the team arrived on day two for the move. Lee and the team were absolutely fantastic, friendly, clean, and calm throughout. They handled everything with zero fuss—they even figured out a brilliant, creative way to get our large dining table into our new house when it looked tricky! I almost cried with happiness! The team also put all the furniture up in the rooms so we had all our beds ready and had a great night's sleep on night one. On top of that, they were so lovely and kind to our cat, which meant the world to us. In fact, they were so brilliant and self-sufficient that I even managed to head out for a coffee and brunch on both days while they just got on with it. If you’re not sure if paying for packing and removals is worth the money, it really is!! I would 100% recommend them to anyone looking for a seamless, stress-free move. Extremely happy with the service offered . We had to put our possessions into storage with them and they collected most of our possessions on the Wednesday, leaving us just enough to be able to remain in the house until completion took place on the Friday. They then collected everything else on the Friday morning and put that into storage as well. When we completed our purchase , we arranged for delivery which, because they were busy , was not going to take place for 2 weeks. However, they arranged for immediate delivery of our beds and sofa so that we could move in and then, because of a cancellation , they were able to deliver everything else early. The guys doing the collecting and delivery were great - very helpful and patient and were happy to advise if they thought anything needed to change. It was very hot on the day of the move and due to a smaller rental property, a significant amount of furniture from our home in Epsom & Ewell didn’t (initially) fit. Demonstrating humour, patience, endurance and an impressive resourcefulness, the team at F. Smith & Son went above and beyond to achieve the best possible outcome for us in the trying situation. I used F Smith and son to provide me with a removal service of all my belongings from my home in Selsdon to my new home in Llandudno in North Wales. I used the full packing and removal service for my belongings. The removal team carefully packed my belongings and I was very pleased that the delicate China ornaments, dinner service and all the crockery was not damaged. All my belongings arrived safely at my new home. The only thing that was damaged was a cheap glass picture frame. I was offered the opportunity to claim for the damage from their insurance scheme but I choose not to do this because the cost of replacing the glass frame was less than their admin fee of £50.00. All of the team involved in my move were very efficient and professional. The person who initially visited my home to give me the original quote was very friendly and made me feel reassured about my potential move. The quote was very reasonable compared to other quotes and it was good value for money. The actual move took four days, which started with packing all my belongings which they had done by 2pm. The next day they had loaded the lorry by 1pm which meant I could get an earlier train than I had planned to travel to Llandudno. This meant  I arrived in Llandudno at 6.30pm that evening. The next day they arrived at my new home by 1pm as planned and they had unloaded 3/4 of the lorry by 4pm. They returned the next day at 8.30am as  planned and by 9.45am they had unloaded all my belongings and they were on they way back to croydon. I was very impressed with the efficiency of this whole process. All members of the team were very friendly and they respected my wishes. They all gave me the reassurance that they would transport all my belongings safely. Overall I was very impressed with the removal service that F Smith and son provided to me. They took a lot of the  stress out of the process of moving to my new home. I would certainly recommend their service to anyone who needs a removal service.

I honestly couldn’t recommend F Smith & Son enough. They were absolutely brilliant from start to finish and made what could have been a very stressful move so much easier. Before my move, there was a lot of uncertainty around my completion date, and I didn’t actually confirm my moving date until just a few days beforehand. The team were so patient and understanding throughout it all. They were really helpful and never made me feel like the last-minute confirmation was a problem. I had the Gold Package, which included packing, and I’m so glad I chose it. The packing was done incredibly efficiently, and the guy who came to pack for me was so friendly, helpful and easy to get along with. He made the whole process feel really straightforward. Moving day itself was absolutely boiling — it felt like about 1,000 degrees! I had three guys come to move everything, and they were amazing. They worked so quickly but were still incredibly careful with all of my things. I had a LOT of stuff, but nothing was too much trouble for them. They were friendly, hardworking and just got on with everything with a really positive attitude. Then, when we arrived at my new property, things got even more complicated. The people moving out were having issues with their movers. They were supposed to be out by 2pm, but they only had a small van and had to make multiple trips. In the end, they weren’t actually completely out until around 8pm! Despite this, my F Smith & Son team were fantastic. They were able to get on with moving my things in while the previous owners were still moving out, and unbelievably, they had managed to get all of my belongings moved in before the other movers had even finished getting the previous occupants’ things out! The whole team were so helpful, friendly and accommodating throughout the day. Nothing was a problem, even with the heat, the amount of stuff I had and the unexpected delays at the new property. Moving house can be incredibly stressful, but F Smith & Son genuinely made the experience so much easier. I couldn’t fault them. They were efficient, careful, friendly and went above and beyond to help. I would 100% recommend F Smith & Son. Fantastic service and a brilliant team!
