I recently booked F Smith and Son to help me move out of my flat into a house 11 miles away. Bradley and the team (apologies - I can't remember the other two gentlemans names) were incredibly prompt with their timekeeping. They were friendly and chatty and made the emptying of my flat and loading into my new home look effortless. I would definitely recommend booking F Smith and Son. Thank you guys!

Sadly although most of the team that helped me move both pre-move and actual move were very good, one or two of the team doing my actual move were not so pleasant. They spent a lot of time moaning and complaining about the time and how it's a Friday and there's too much stuff etc and made me feel quite uncomfortable at times. Despite me carefully labelling boxes, most of these clear labels were ignored and everything dumped in the wrong rooms - many of which on even the wrong floor or in the garage instead of house and vice versa. This meant it has taken months for me to find things. There was barely any furniture to move as most of mine was fitted at my old house or disposed of. This was prepaid but still they moaned. Nor did they bring sufficiently sized vans so I had to leave a large garden storage box worth £300 behind. It was that or face further aggravation from the bad tempered couple of guys. Once I started to unpack and find my belongings I found several breakages including 2 large garden ornaments, 2 large garden china tubs, my grandmother's clock is damaged and broken, my father's ancient pipe chipped, my kitchen clock smashed, and other breakages. These were all items that were very carefully package and wrapped but with the way my boxes were thrown down and piled up despite being marked fragile things got damaged. It is a shame that these couple of guys spoiled my whole experience as the office staff and other guys were lovely, One of the bad tempered guys had been at my house the day before to pack for me (paid for at ££££) but seemed to not want to do it. It all ended up costing me nearly three times other quotes I received, and I would not recommend due to these 2 men and their disregard for both me as a paying customer and my belongings.
