Bronze Level Moving Service
Included in Bronze
- Supply of purpose-built removals vehicles
- Carriage of specific goods outlined in the survey
- Supply of wardrobe cartons
- Protection of furniture during transit
- Provision of quilted sofa covers
- Delivery and placement into chosen rooms
- Payment of parking charges (added as disbursements)
Not Included in Bronze
- Supply of all packaging materials
- Dismantling and reassembly of any furniture
- Waiting time waiver or hourly waiting charges
- Packing services
- Loft removal (if boarded and accessible)
- Arranging Parking suspension/dispensation
- Unpacking cartons or packages
- Disconnecting / re-connecting gas, water, or electrical appliances
Important Notes for Bronze Level:
- Customers must supply their own packaging materials and pack smaller items into cartons.
- Parking spaces must be reserved by the customer unless prior arrangements have been made.
Silver Level Moving Service
Included in Silver
- Supply of purpose-built removals vehicles
- Carriage of specific goods outlined in the survey
- Supply of wardrobe cartons

- Loft removal
- Dismantling and reassembly of other furniture
- Arranging Parking suspension/dispensation
- Unpacking cartons or packages

- Simple furniture (e.g., beds, tables) will be dismantled and reassembled by our team.

How to Book your House Move
At F Smith & Son, we recommend starting the booking process as early as possible. This often means we can provide a removals quote before the customer has a confirmed moving date. As soon as the date is confirmed, we can finalise the agreement and the customer can relax in the knowledge that we will arrive and carry out the work as scheduled.

We can provide high quality, professional video surveys. These surveys will still be conducted by our experienced removal and storage surveyors, however, they will be conducted at arm’s length by video survey technology. Our video estimators are available:
