We offer removal services for large office relocations through to moving single items of office equipment such as fireproof cabinets, safes or servers.
During the early stage of quotation, it is essential to discuss any constraints and suggested timetables. This will enable us to avoid any major disruption to your staff or the running of your business. Our business is very flexible in order to meet customer demands. We can carry out work on normal working days or even arrange for our staff to come in over weekends or evenings if required.
We will discuss with you any other requirements that you have. These requirements can range from packing services, furniture disassembly/re-assembly, archive storage, use of lift protectors/floor protectors, IT decommissioning/re-commissioning, and other storage facilities.
Packaging and Packing
We are able to manage the supply of all materials to carry out your removal and, if you require, we can offer a full or part packing service which will reduce the time that your staff have to take away from their every day duties. Packing services will usually take place at least a day before the removal, or if previously discussed with the surveyor, arrangements can be made to have it packed as it is moved.
If the packing is to be carried out by your staff, crates can be delivered prior to the removal and can be on-site until they are emptied and ready for return. We will arrange to have them picked up at a time convenient with you once they have all been emptied.
Other packaging materials such as bubble wrap and packing paper will be used by our staff when we are carrying out any packing service. Please note that these can also be supplied to you should you be doing your own packing (see packing materials).
All furniture will be blanket wrapped on the vehicle so as to protect it against any scratching and damage in transit.
Disassembly and Reassembly service
It is often necessary to dismantle large desks and cabinets to enable them to be removed from your office. This could be due to poor access or small doorways. When our surveyor calls round, they will mention if any furniture needs to be dismantled. Extra trained staff can be provided on the day to carry out all dismantling and reassembling as necessary, enabling us to set up your new office with minimal delay.
Added Protection - Lift Protectors/Floor Protectors
In order to satisfy some managing agents of office premises, we can arrange to have floor protectors laid and lift protectors put up. These would be essential if there are expensive tiled floors in the reception atrium or when there is no service lift.
IT relocation - Moving IT correctly
It is often the case that when moving your office you are moving more than just desks and filing cabinets. A large part of any business move today involves the relocation of fragile and expensive IT equipment. As this equipment is essential to the running of most businesses, we can liaise with your IT technicians and plan the disconnection movement and reconnection, hence minimising the down time for the company.
If the job of decommissioning and re-commissioning all of your IT equipment is too big for your in-house technicians to manage, we can help. We will be able to bring in the experts with us to plan this part of your relocation. From project initiation, through IT testing and decommissioning to relocation, installation and testing, we can manage the entire project on your behalf, to ensure that your business is running effectively as soon as possible.

- All peripheral workstation equipment will be put into sealed bags and as the equipment is placed into crates they are protected with anti-static bubble-wrap
- When the workstations/servers are ready to be re-commissioned, they will be set up exactly as recorded on the initial log
- All equipment will be powered up and tested to ensure that it is in the same condition as before. This is then logged.
- We will ensure that a technical specialist is allocated for the day after the move to troubleshoot any snags that may have occurred
You can also be assured that the utmost care is taken in the safe transportation and protection of the electrical equipment. All equipment will be properly wrapped and packaged with anti-static bubble wrap and transported in specialist vehicles with 'riding on air' suspension, therefore minimising the risk of damage.
Storage
Should you be short of space in the office, we can provide storage for furniture and / or archived files.
The goods will be stored in
our fully alarmed warehouse whereby all your company effects will be inventoried and stored in individual containers.
Archive storage can be provided and will be fully documented so that any one box can be easily located should you require to retrieve or add any files to your
storage. With sufficient notice we can also arrange to have boxes / files picked up or delivered to and from your work place. Please see

Specialised Equipment
In order to carry out the required work, we will supply all necessary equipment i.e. skates, barrows and tail lifts (on selected vehicles). This enables us to safely move large equipment such as fire proof cabinets, servers and safes and ensures that the move is carried out efficiently.
